Top director Koratala Siva directed films like Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu. He raced to the top with back to back hits and he bagged an opportunity to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi in his next film. The project titled Acharya got delayed by a year and a half as Chiranjeevi was busy with his dream project Syeraa. Koratala Siva has been asked to wait though he had plans to direct and produce other projects.
His close associates said that Koratala Siva lost Rs 30 crores because of Chiranjeevi. Koratala Siva is taking Rs 15 crores home and he would have directed two films in this while. The ace director is said to have lost Rs 30 crores because of this gap. When the shoot of Acharya is going on a smooth phase, the film is hit by coronavirus and the shoot of the film came to a halt. Acharya is a big-budget action entertainer that features Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film will now release next year.
