Legendary Bollywood playback singer Lata Mangeshkar was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital during the early hours of Monday after she fell critically ill. The 90-year-old legendary singer was suffering from viral chest congestion. A team of expert doctors treated her and they released a health bulletin today. Lata Mangeshkar is responding well for medication but she will continue to be under their monitoring. The doctors said that she is a fighter and will soon be discharged. There has been huge growth in her health said the team who was admitted on a ventilator.
Born on September 29th 1929, Lata Mangeshkar sang over 40,000 songs in her career and is the recipient of several prestigious national and international awards. Lata Mangeshkar sang songs in 36 languages till date and she received Bharat Ratna in 2001. She was also honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Lata Mangeshkar also composed music for a bunch of Bollywood films in her career. The doctors clarified that her health condition is currently very stable. Wishing Lata Mangeshkar a speedy recovery.
